Carmen Maldonado

I’m a Nuyorican born and raised in the South Bronx in the 70’s and 80’s. I’ve been lucky to attend a top NYC private school and an Ivy-League institution. I’ve had a multi-dimensional career which spans being a public school teacher in North and West Philadelphia, a program officer working with NYC community-based nonprofits converting dilapidated buildings in to affordable housing, an investment director supporting high-performing charter schools in need of permanent school homes, and a director of community education programs for children and families living in privately owned developments across several major cities.

My career has always called on me to understand people, their current circumstances, and working on solutions to support them moving forward - my number one passion! Driving complex solutions often meant intense negotiations with clients, architects, underwriters, lawyers, general contractors, and investors.

Now, as a Professional Organizer, I continue to follow my passion for understanding people, their circumstances, and supporting them through reclaiming their precious space and begin living their good life, organized.

I am blessed to being living my good life in BedStuy, Brooklyn with my lovely husband and teenage daughter.
