About Me

Carmen Maldonado

Owner, Creative Guide, Professional Organizer

Nuyorican from the South Bronx. Raised in the 70’s and 80’s. Luck and hard work got me to and through great educational institutions.

I’m blessed to have had a 30-year, multi-dimensional career. I’ve been a public school teacher (North & West Philly), provided financing to NYC community-based nonprofits converting dilapidated buildings to affordable housing, served as an investment director supporting high-performing charter schools in need of permanent school homes, and developed community education programs for children and families living in privately owned developments across several major cities.

My career has always called on me to understand people, their current circumstances, and working on solutions to support their moving forward - my number one passion! Driving complex solutions often meant intense negotiations with clients, architects, underwriters, lawyers, general contractors, and investors.

As a Professional Organizer, I continue to follow my passion for understanding people, their circumstances, and supporting them through reclaiming their precious space and begin living their good life, organized.

I am thankful to being living my good life in BedStuy, Brooklyn with my lovely husband and teenage daughter.

I am bound by the Code of Ethics of NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals)
